Our front line ambulances carry all life saving and rescue equipment that exceed the standard expected of a front line ambulance.

  • VHF radio (to speak to air ambulance)
  • High power personnel radios (constant communication to other RMS staff)
  • GPS (mountain GPS to give exact location in case of airlift is needed

  • Smoke and flares (for attention of air ambulance)

All equipment is tested before an event and regular staff training ensures all equipment is used effectively and appropiately.
